Sports and Recreation IMPS Polytechnic College

This college not only concentrates on studies but also gives importance in other activities. Sports and Games are an integral part of any student. Physical education & sports play vital role in achieving the aims and objectives of Education. The students, of IMPS PTC, have provided with excellent facilities and encouraged to take part in major competitions held in West Bengal, particularly in Engineering Institutions. They also organize different sports competitions to enhance leadership qualities, team spirit and organizational skills. Students Sports Committee has organized several events during 2015-2016 academic session. The sports year starts with the organization of the Inter Hostel Tournaments in various games i.e. badminton, chess, cricket, football, table tennis, volleyball.

The following facilities are developed and maintained over the years for the students.

• Football 1 multi-purpose field.
• Cricket 1 multi-purpose field.
• Volleyball 1 court.
• Tennis 1 court.
• Badminton 2 courts.
• Chessboards.
• Table Tennis 1 table.
